How to Get on the Housing Ladder?

Are you a First time buyer looking to buy your property in Harare. An average home in Harare now cost in excess of £20million The only practical option for first time buyers who cant afford to buy in Harare is to look elsewhere like the smaller towns like Mutare, Bulawayo and Gweru or even my hometown - Rusape.
The other expensive alternative is to buy a stand and just keep it and resell it a few years down the line. Property and land in Harare has been appreciating even in real terms. Alternatively you can build but building cost are exorbitant, it is cheaper to buy than build these. For my colleagues abroad you also have to think about the management of the project. Builders are notorious for stealing and using substandard material to compromise. This is not an alternative for the faint hearted
