Harare the Least Expensive City after Moscow

Harare is the 2nd least expensive city. It now ranks number 144 of the 145 cities surveyed. It has dropped from a ranking of 134 position in 2005 to 144 position in 2006 according to a report published by Mercer .
Moscow had toppled all the cities to become the most expensive city in the world from its previous 50th position. This comes as no surprise as Russian’s 36 richest people are worth a whooping £65billion, however the disparity between the rich and the poor in Moscow continues to widen and therefore prices have mainly been affected by the rich tycoons of Russia.
In Rublyovks one of the Most exclusive suburbs of Russia, developers where offering a helicopter as a gift to people who purchased in these suburbs and the starting price for a house was £7m.. Russians have arrived and its very difficult to ignore them. I recently wrote about how they are spending millions on grabbing London homes. Its not just London they are spendingb on, they are grabbing homes worldwide and in places like Dubai they are known to be buying island.
