To those of you who follow this blog i have written before about buildings collapsing in Nigeria. They are many incidents of these and i have blogged about them. Now here is the latest one where 7 people have died in Lagos as the building collapses.

It just makes me think that at least Zimbabwe isnt that bad after all. I know its hard to look at the posetive but come on guys we dont get four storey buildings collapsing in the city.

Johannesburg police were on Friday looking for three men driving a blue Volkswagen Polo believed to have been involved in the murder of reggae star Lucky Dube (43).

Dube was shot dead in a botched hijacking in Rosettenville at about 8.20pm on Thursday night, said police spokesperson Captain Cheryl Engelbrecht. The singer was travelling in a grey Chrysler with his two teenage children at the time.

Going home … going home … am a-going home … The lovely words of Aaron Neville’s song ring in my head for a whole fortnight before my three-week vacation in Zimbabwe. Each day I wake up and pump up the volume. I am so excited, I can’t wait. I haven’t been home for more than five months. This is long overdue.

August is vacation time for me and my son. It also is time to renew insurances, annual medical check-ups and, of course, sweet potato time. I love that stuff. I could live on sweet potatoes for the rest of my life. And, believe me, they don’t grow them that sweet anywhere else.

Five police officers were detained in Mozambique for smuggling prostitutes into the capital’s Machava maximum security prison, say reports. Fortunato Matangala, director of Machava Maximum security prison said the officers, now suspended, included a commander at the prison, an officer, a driver and guards.

The prostitutes found inside the prison were not detained as the country’s laws did not consider prostitution a crime.

The prostitutes were recruited from the city just after dusk and were accommodated at a location near the prison before they would be smuggled into the prison, where they would be paid unspecified amounts for their services to selected prisoners. News 24

Well i try and keep Friday free from “Zimbabwe News”. Its weekend guys so its nice to just chill out on a Friday and enjoy it.

This week for me has been so busy as I am working on a new website its to do with “dogs”. I havent got dogs please and know very little about them but I am learning about what makes these dog lovers so passionate about dogs and make money from them. So you dont have to know about the market to make money from it. The internet has everything and you can do your research and learn a lot. Normally when i am doing my research the first place i go to are the forums. In my case i spend a few hours digging the dog frums and finding out what these dog lovers really want.
